The photovoltaic system planned by AZUR Solar GmbH was completed in June 2010. Located right on the Baltic coast, the system produces approx. 550,000 kWh of power annually, or enough to cover the total annual power requirement of around 122 4-person households. All the power generated is fed into Stralsund's public power grid, so making an active contribution to the region's alternative power generation capacity.
