One of the 5 largest solar systems within the Kingdom of Belgium was planned and installed by AZUR Solar GmbH on the roof of the country's largest honey producer, Meli NV. The system produces approx. 340,000 kWh of power per year, which enables the company to cover around 50-60% of its annual power requirements. The power generated on Meli's 8000 m² roof can either be used by the company itself or fed into the public power grid.
