England's largest solar roof system, with an area of 6,355.2 m², was planned and installed over a three month period on the head office of "The Body Shop International" in Littlehampton. The system could supply the annual energy requirements for 200 households. Body Shop International plans to use the energy generated itself and so reduce its energy bills. CO₂ emissions will also be cut by 390 tonnes.
